EXPERIENCE:

Feb. 1997 to Present

JK2 Holmes Constructors Inc. - Project Manger for multiple commercial projects
in the Central Florida market.  Responsible for preliminary negotiations, estimating, contract administration, design, permitting, scheduling, and construction phases of multiple design/build projects.  Supervised multiple projects by coordinating field and office staff during buy-out, construction, billing, and closeout of the work.  Coordinated the site and building design, then permitted and constructed the new AH2 Group commercial industrial park in Apopka Florida.
 

June 1992 to Feb. 1997 

SunCastle Construction - Owner and qualifying contractor for custom home and 
light commercial projects in Central Florida area.  Built large custom homes, average sales price $285,000.00, remodeled commercial office suites, and tenant build-outs generating total annual sales in excess of $2 million. Consultant / Construction Manager for multiple commercial projects, responsible for coordination of architects, engineers, and designers.  Acting on behalf of owner’s during coordination with developers or government agencies prior to construction, and managed contracts, budgeting, buy-out, and scheduling after commencement of construction.
 

June 1990 to June 1992 

APSB Homes, Inc. - Vice President, responsible for construction and management of over 30 subsidiary corporations of American Pioneer Federal Savings Bank during and after the receivership by the RTC.  Responsible for management of over ten subordinate staff members needed for asset management, contracting, and valuation of each asset prior to the liquidation.  Over $100 million in real estate, commercial projects, and construction joint ventures were liquidated by APSB Homes for the RTC.  Responsibilities included annual budgets for several projects in the portfolio, managing assets within the approved parameters, liquidating inter-company and third party debt associated with a major home building and development company.
 

February 1989 to June 1990

Catalina Homes, Inc. - Vice President of Special Projects, and West Coast Division Manager. Responsible for negotiating with several engineering firms, various government agencies, and reviewing the work performed by contractors during the construction of all subdivisions built within the West, Central, and East Coast Divisions. As Division Manager responsibilities included the supervision of staff required to contract, construct and close homes in eight subdivisions in the West Coast Division.  Other duties included interaction with the President and Senior VP during development, budgeting, and bid evaluation of the new product lines and subdivisions. Managed construction and development budget of $30 million per year.
 

October 1986 to February 1989

Scherer Construction & Engineering, Inc. - Senior Project Manager responsible for all phases of negotiation, design, and management of multiple commercial projects. Drafted building plans and site plans, from conceptual ideas.  Estimated, scheduled, and managed projects for single user buildings and shopping centers.  Individually developed and managed an annual client base of $13 million in design/build construction.  Responsible for the supervision of other project managers, superintendents, scheduling, and contract administration. 

October 1986 to February 1989

Hennessy / Scherer Joint Venture - Project Manger responsible for the buy-out, scheduling, supervision and finish-out design for the completion of the Courtyard Medical Center, a $2.5 million phased project consisted of six buildings for professional office finish-out and a banking facility.  Assisted in the estimating, purchasing and scheduling of the re-model of the Don Cesar Hotel.
 

May 1984 to October 1986

Beacon Homes of Florida, Inc. - Project Developer for a single and multi-family home builder.  Performed all tasks necessary for the plating and permitting of the new subdivisions.  Responsible for hiring and managing contractors for the maintenance of the existing and proposed developments and model centers as required by the Division Manager.   Officer on the Board of Directors for several home owner and condominium associations. 
 

May 1976 to May 1984
